Meeting at Greg Kramer’s house on April 26, 2003

Gray Rail Diesel Car

Bob’s Rail Diesel Car makes its rounds on Greg’s new layout.

We got together at the home of host Greg Kramer for a meeting on Saturday, April 26, 2003. Participants in attendance: Kevin Loch, Tom Cook, Bob Hayes, Abe Friedman, Margaret Keys, Roy Gal, Constantine Hannaher, Michael Harrod, Nate Jacobs.

Greg’s new layout

Greg enlisted Tom in building a new yard for his trains and induced Roy and Abe to build a mountain out of (nearly) every single one of his BURPs.

Bob’s trains

Bob had his orange TGV, Jack Stone locomotive, and gray RDC.

Roy’s firehouse and fire engine

Roy brought the minifig-scale creation of the fire station where he volunteers and the Seagrave hook-and-ladder in use there.

Abe’s unit train of tank cars and Nate’s gondolas

Abe got to run his unit train of tank cars. Nate made a quick correction to the temporary stickers on his SNOT-y gondolas.

Constantine’s proposal for a Metrorail station

Constantine had a prototype ready of an outdoor station for the Metrorail cars he and Nate have built from Kevin’s original. Sturdy it was not.

Monorail is planned for the next layout

Margaret had a very yellow monorail ready for Greg’s ambitious desire for a monorail layout at our next show.

A track design for Manassas is promised for real soon. We have 6 weeks.
