Meeting at Tom Cook’s house on March 25, 2006
We got together at the home of host Tom Cook on Saturday, March 25, 2006. Participants in attendance: Denise Jadud, Tom Cook, Bob Hayes, Abe Friedman, Margaret D. Keys, Constantine Hannaher, Michael Harrod, Tony Perez, Ed Kohl, Clifton D. Chambers, Sr., Richard Bertaut, Scott Bertaut, Peter Kale, Jim Voltz.
Tom had taken advantage of the local Pick-a-Brick selection to construct a number of buildings, including a lumber yard. Also, a railway wagon from Harry Potter 4755 Knight Bus. Bob brought his Union Pacific M-10000 streamliner complete with working headlight and articulation between all cars. He lamented the dearth of ‘Panel 1 × 2 × 3 with Solid Studs’ (2362a) in Red. Ed previewed his elevated Baltimore County light rail transport. Constantine had expanded his rendition of the Lee-Fendall House, refurbished some of his Virginia Railway Express rolling stock (and added a sticker-festooned Incident Response Vehicle), and added to his collection of police vehicles, armored cars, WMATA support vehicles, HMMWVs (this one in camouflage bearing a flag-draped casket), and so on. Late guest Jim had a monster dump truck designed for rail transport.
